Winter, the sea, new things! The arrival of a cold snap here has coincided with the discovery that Mark English’s high quality prints are now on Etsy! His wonderful illustrations were an inspiration for me all through college and it was a lovely surprise to see his work again.
I am missing the ocean, being this far inland. I was so fortunate to be able to take walks on the beach from where I lived and I now really appreciate what I had!

Perusing the shops today in Kamloops, I stumbled upon this divinely scented hand cream! Lollia is the name, and the whole brand looks fantastic well designed and the smells are really unique combinations. The Wish / Sugared Pastille took my vote though! Bergamot, Cinnamon, Pepper Jasmine, Ylang Ylang, Amber Woods and Vanilla.
Small Worlds: the Art of the Invisible was an exhibition of the miniature world of microscopic specimens, revealing the strange and wonderful contents of the Museum’s collection of some ten thousand slides.
