From Martha Stewart Weddings, Summer 2010, this is one tasty wedding invitation suite by Neapolitan on Etsy! It is a custom order incorporating marblized and silkscreened papers. Very delicate and just the right mix of patterns and colours.

Anna See’s shop has a soft and pretty feeling as soon as you arrive! For the shoes: Beautiful hand-carved linoleum mounted wood block and printed over tissue. For the birds: multiple hand-carved linoleum mounted wood blocks, one for each color. The colors are mixed and rolled out and printed by hand. ($5-$20)

Jim Denevan / Sand Artist
Apparently Jim Denevan created one of the largest free-hand sand-drawings on the beach of Spanish Banks in Vancouver last week. And in the spirit of his art, I can’t seem to find any record of it online. Washed away by the waves… (via I’m Revolting)

I have yet to buy a MacBook Pro, let alone have one to etch, but when I saw these pics on Garance Doré, I fell in love with the idea of personalising the laptop, inside and out. Pretty sure it voids the warranty though…

Measuring Shells
These are even more adorable in person than in the photographs! Found in Anthropologie’s kitchen section. I doubt they will ever get beyond the packaged stage, let alone into my spice drawer! They are so delicate and feel like real shells. Love the script too!

Imogen Cunningham
While at the SAM in Seattle, they had an exhibit of Imogen Cunningham’s work on display. Her career started when she was 18 spanned 1901-1976, when she died at age 93. I believe she was the first woman to shot male nudes (her husband), but was discouraged from continuing that train of photography. In the 1940’s she was invited by Ansel Adams to teach at the California School of Fine...
