Morteza Zahedi
Morteza Zahedi is an Iranian artist who has been features on a number of my favourite blogs. I particularily like some of his painted boxes, those with sparse lines and touches of beautiful coloured organic shapes (of course!). (via dear ada, kickcanandconkers) »

Brooks Shane Salzwedel
The work of Brooks Shane Salzwedel was brought to my attention by fellow Tumblr Kickcan and Conkers (who also has a lovely blog to check out!). He works with graphite, resin, tape, film. I’m not a crystal collector but I can certainly see the appeal in these shapes and colours. Stellar! These are all from the Mineral Pool (Personal Collections) on Flickr (via obe). »

Broken English
I love these “paper” airplane pendants from Vancouver duo Broken English (Rex Lavado and Lindsay Rankin). They can be found in a few stores around Vancouver, BC: Eugene Choo, The Block, Walrus, Collage Collage and Ministry of the Interior. It’s a small world because I think I recognize this team from the graphic design network. I love it when creativity carries through different...

The Secret Garden
When I was a little girl, my grandmother made over a small corner of her forest and named it after me, Jennie’s Garden. It was mostly birches and ferns with a little staircase, but in my mind it was akin to the drawings of this magical book, illustrated by Inga Moore.
