Anne Davies / New Work
Whenever I see one of my favourite artists Anne Davies’ work, I’m brought back to childhood trips our family took to Cornwall in the UK. The worked surface of the paintings, the colours, the shapes, they seem etched out of time itself. (images via Anne Davies) »

Thussfarrell Design
This is the holiday greeting card Thrussfarrell designed for the restaurants of chef Daniel Boulud. They created custom patterns from existing restaurant logos and printed them as wrapping papers. Very beautiful concept, lovely execution! (images via Thussfarrell Design, found via Blackeiffel) »

Snowy Neighbourhood Walk
Oh, did it ever snow today! All day, tiny light little flakes came dancing down and coated everything beneath them! It was so powdery that we could sweep it off the walk and the stairs. Fairy snow… (photos by Jennifer Taylor Paravantes aka Field & Sea) »

Elizabeth Robinson
An artist after my own heart! Elizabeth Robinson discovered her passion for clay on the way to a degree in botany. I love the mix of angles, organic shapes and earthy colours. See more in her shop. »

Stephanie Schneider / 17
Stephanie Schneider mixes materials from mohair to silk and linen with traditional jeweler’s metals. Pictured here are gemstones, silk, leather and mohair. The label’s name comes from numerology: 1 is the beginning, 7 is perfection and when added they equal 8, a number that symbolizes eternity. Powerline Quilts
These artquilts are by Elsie Marley for an art quilt book. I like how she made an attractive, modern landscape with powerlines of all things crisscrossing the sky. I also love her companion quilt with the same design only without any patchwork–a whole cloth quilt. (via Vintage for kids) »
