Papier / Authentics
These Papier bags are made using strong, wear-resistant Tyvek®, which look so much like paper, instead of actual paper. What an unconventional bag! See more of this Munich designer Stefan Diez’ work here.

Etsy Find / Pawling
This sister duo, Pawling, has a cute shop full of simple black and white line work. Aprons, bags, onesies, calendars, tags, cards. They just opened in October – I’d say they are off to a great start! Welcome to Etsy!

Cool "Kraft" Idea
I just bought a handful of white ink pens and this is the exact type of project I had in mind for them - I love white on kraft paper! I could doodle all day with white ink! (photo via designsponge)

Inspired Child's Room
This is a child’s room from Living Etc. Find the pillow on Etsy from bestillshop ($30); the lovely and Calder-like mobile can be found at Mobilosity ($78); the neat animal-friendly tiles are from Flor (Stampede, $12.99 / tile); the non-animal friendly sheepskin rug is Ikea, of course ($40).

And absolutely perfectly branded. It takes my breath away. You must check out the site! These small images don’t do it...

Field & Sea / Shop Update
New in the shop! Little treasure packs ($10). I have put these together from little items I have been collecting over time, and just won’t get to use. They can be used for all sorts of crafts: tags, cards, memory books. Each one is unique. What you see is what you’ll get!

Mmmm… Marrons!
At this time of year I start craving the smell and sweet taste of freshly roasted chestnuts! In Geneva, we would buy them fro street vendors and the paper cone of toasty nuts would warm up our chilly fingers. To make them: buy edible chestnuts (NOT the ones you find on the sidewalk!); slit the shell; put on a tray in the oven at 100˚C for 25 mins; peel and eat while still warm! (photo from Sweet...

Etsy / Alas del Sur
Constanza is originally from Argentina but now lives in New York, working as an architect. In her spare time, she makes these lovely textile necklaces and accessories. This one is a cream silk yarn that is sent to her by her mum in Argentina. I love that it is a family effort! See more of her work here.
